Ayesha completed M.A. in Early Childhood Education – General and Special Education and now pursuing Ph.D. in the department of Curriculum and Teaching at Teacher's College, Columbia University, USA. She had selected as the student speaker for the graduation ceremony at Teachers College, Columbia University, New York. She had conducted a cultural exchange in 2015 and received the ‘Impact Award’ from the Girl Scouts of New York. She is a recipient of the prestigious Harry Passow Fellowship and a Doctoral Research Fellow at the Rita Gold Center - the University's Early Childhood Center. Currently she is working on a research project which is funded by the Department of Education - New York, in collaboration with Teachers College, Columbia University and the City College of New York. This is a very high-profile project and she says that, “I am fortunate to be on the team.” They are examining "best practice" within diverse public schools in New York City. And now she will soon be featured as a success story in the next FEZANA magazine issue.
